Best-Before Wrapper
Erle Võsa-Tangsoo
Either in the shop or in our own home fridge we can discover food products which are past their best before date. If the packaging would identify that the product within has gone bad, it would save us from sniffing or tasting for to make sure the food items is still OK for usage. The patterns indicating that the product is not good any more appear on the special indicator wrapper and are the result of bacterial activity; the more the pattern spread, the more the product has surpassed the use by date.
