The centralised control system of domestic electric appliances with special emphasis on the needs of blind people. The system comprises a wall mounted central unit and transmitters connected to various appliances. The task of the transmitter is to communicate the momentary status of an electric appliance to the central unit – an electric iron left plugged in, for instance. The user communicates with the central unit by means of voice commands.
