At first glance it looks like an ordinary scarf. In fact, there are tiny LED lights hidden in the garment which light up when triggered by sensors as the wearer is approached by someone who has advanced to a certain distance. This could work as a means to scare away some mean stalker in the dark. The garment can be adjusted and used as a warning self-defence, or a source of light, as well as a decoration which can be viewed from afar. In this last case the wearer herself would switch on the LEDs embedded in the scarf.
